K5 PATCH

K5 PATCH is an innovative multi-purpose fire suppression product, designed with the application of K5 technology. K5 PATCH is a fire retardant polymer coating (paint with fire retardant feature). Fire suppression is provided by the microcapsules contained in the K5 PATCH.

K5 PATCH is primarily designed for industrial applications, for example, the provision of fire extinguishing features to large surface areas. K5 PATCHP can be applied to surfaces by any standard painting method. The viscosity, adhesion, working temperature etc. can all be adjusted to meet the specific fire protection requirements. As a result of the application of K5 PATCH, any surface acquires the ability to suppress fire (technological limitations apply).

The K5 SAFETY PATCH is a miniature self-contained, automatic, local fire suppression device, incorporating K5 technology and is used to provide fire protection to electrical equipment such as electrical sockets, junction boxes, power distribution boards, electrical cabinets and other electrical equipment that operate within a confined space. The safety patch comes in a range of different sizes and can protect volumes from 0.02 and 60 dm3 (cubic decimeters).
The K5 SAFETY PATCH is a self-adhesive flexible plate that contains the K5 composite fire suppressing material. To mount the device, simply stick the patch horizontally above the potential source of ignition to provide immediate fire protection. The K5 SAFETY PATCH is available in 5 different models depending on the volume requiring protection. The models available are: SPS, SP15, SP25, SP45 and SP60.
